Ginger “Give Back” Walker has cultivated many titles throughout her life, refusing to be put inside any “box.” Everything she does is focused on one idea: to cause a ripple effect of kindness within her community.
Originally hailing from the New York/New Jersey region, Ginger graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelor's in Political Science. She subsequently relocated to Hoboken, New Jersey, to work in marketing with a major international pharmaceutical company for over ten years. She married and relocated to Northern Virginia, then joined the Real Estate profession in 2008. When not working, she focuses on her two children currently enrolled in a local high school and Syracuse University.

GINGER GIVES BACK
Ginger’s mission is to empower those in her community to live their best lives. It’s a value inspired by her own mother. Since the start of her career in 2008, she has also made it a point to give back to her community.
After living overseas for several years, Ginger launched her Give Back Girl campaign as a way of helping those in her community who needed help the most. Not only does she donate to multiple charities, but she’s donated a portion of every single commission since the early days of her career.
Over the years, she convinced a like-minded community of equally passionate individuals to form the “Give Back Team” – specifically charged to give back in meaningful ways. The GBT nominated local charities monthly to receive a $500 donation, publicity, and support. They are proud to have helped up to 36 charities. She’s particularly focused on organizations that empower women and worked extensively with women at her local women’s shelter.
She also uses her voice to help elevate and inspire women to achieve their business dreams.
Focused on Raising Up Women in Communities
In addition to giving back to the community, Ginger also focuses on raising women in her community. She understands what it’s like to be the only woman in the room. All of her mentors have been men. She wants to change that and has made it one of her missions to mentor women on their journey towards success.

In addition to her many job titles, Ginger is most proud of her title as wife and mother. While her husband is not in the real estate industry like her, he does help her explore new opportunities such as geobacheloring. She also has two sons in middle and high school and loves to be in the heart of her home: the kitchen.
